NTUC FairPrice, NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam to mark SAF Day 2019 with promotions for all past and present national servicemen

To celebrate SAF Day 2019, NTUC FairPrice, NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam will be introducing promotions to all NSmen, Full-time National Servicemen (NSF), and SAF and HomeTeamNS Regulars to thank them for their contributions to Singapore’s defence.

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and HomeTeamNS have indeed given strength to Singapore through the collective effort of each individual serviceman, contributing to the peacefulness and stability that all Singaporeans can be proud of and enjoy today.

This SAF Day, NTUC Enterprise wants to recognise the contributions, sacrifice and dedication of our servicemen to Singapore. NTUC Enterprise is the holding entity and single largest shareholder of the NTUC Social Enterprises, which include NTUC FairPrice, NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam. Through harnessing the capabilities of its social enterprises, NTUC Enterprise aims to empower all in Singapore to live better and more meaningful lives.

NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam

NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam will be extending the $0.50¹ hot coffee (“kopi”) and tea (“teh”) promotion to NSmen, NSFs and Regulars of SAF and HomeTeamNS. The promotion will be available on 1 July 2019, at more than 90 outlets islandwide, at all NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam food courts and coffee shops.

The hot beverages offered at a special price of $0.50 are: Kopi, Kopi-O, Kopi-C, Teh, Teh-O and Teh-C (inclusive of kosong).

All SAF and HomeTeamNS national servicemen, including all NSFs, Regulars and operationally ready national servicemen can enjoy this promotion in their SAF uniform, or by presenting their SAF11B or HomeTeamNS Identification Card.

From 1 July 2019 till 30 June 2020, this promotion will be also available every Wednesday for Merdeka and Pioneer Generations. As for NTUC Union Members, the promotion is currently ongoing every Wednesday until June 2020.

i. SAF Day Super Deals: Six items at 50% discount
NTUC FairPrice will be offering SAF Day Super Deals², where six products are at 50% off from 27 June to 3 July 2019. The following products can be purchased at FairPrice, FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra and Warehouse Club.

ii. Warehouse Club: Open House, Special Price Items and Free One-Year Membership
A Warehouse Club Open House is organised for all national servicemen, from 26 June to 16 July 2019. During this period, a Warehouse Club (WHC) membership is not required to purchase products. In addition, our national servicemen are entitled to special priced items, while the first 300 National Servicemen (NSMen) who spend $100 receive a free one-year WHC membership.

iii. FairPrice On: Discounts on Online Spends and Nine Items at 50% Off
FairPrice On, the e-commerce portal of NTUC FairPrice, is offering promo codes for all national servicemen to enjoy $8 off for $120 spent or $12 off for $150 spent, from 1 July to 31 August 2019. The promo code for this initiative is BRAVE. Furthermore, nine products are on offer at 50%³ off , from 27 June to 3 July 2019. These items range from chicken essence and beer, to shaver and toothpaste.

In addition to all past and present national servicemen, SAFRA cardholders are also eligible for all the above FairPrice promotions.
